Additonal description w/ Diamond Mind payment processing

We use Diamond Mind as our payment processor and use the same account for Admissions application fees and Enrollment Contract deposits. The description that comes through is "Online Application" which I assume comes from the Whipple Hill title in Payment Processing. Two issues: 1) We would like student name to come through - right now only the payee name comes through. According to Diamond Mind, this is a Whipplehill issue. 2) We would like separate descriptions for Applications and Contracts. The system knows and keeps this distincintion as in Reconcile Fees you can choose Applications or Contracts. Is there anyway to use this as the description?

This feature was available in the Diamond report from Infosnap. We've now lost this feature. We used to get the student name and ID. Now we only get the parent name. Not helpful at all.

I agree with James Hardy. It is ridiculous for our business office to have to guess which payment goes with which student. Last year we used NetCommunity to do contracts and it was able to send the student name through to Diamond Mind. This is a downgrade.

I find that this is a real problem that the student name and ID# is not shown with the payor name and deposit payment in Diamond Mind. I have already spent 2 hours this morning trying to match up the payor's name in Diamond Mind with the student/parent list from onboard. There are some payments I couldn't match because perhaps a parent used a grandparent's credit card. Also, we have many international students which are also difficult to match with a payor.

I feel that this enhancement of onBoard pushing the student name and ID# along with the payor and deposit amount to Diamond Mind needs to be done as soon as possible and not wait for "votes" on your idea portal. The task of importing 600 deposits into Blackbaud that used to take a 1/2 hour, I foresee now taking more than a day.

I am copying our CFO and Controller so they are aware of this problem and to expect delays in reporting our deposits.

I appreciate your help to have this enhancement done quickly.

I would also like to see the student ID# come through to Diamond Mind so that the deposits can easily be imported into Blackbaud.
