Change the household information on applications so that we can add parents as individuals, not as households.

The layout of the household section is terrible for parents living at different addresses. Most parents don't realize (even though we say it) that they have to "add another household." Typically they end up putting the second parent in where a spouse would be, but then we do not have an address for that parent.

For those that do follow directions and add another household, the information is very hard to follow because the headings are all the same. It is very hard to figure out which parent your are entering information for. If you keep the household section rather than allowing parents to be added individually, then allow us to change the headings so that it is clear which parent they are on. (i.e. Household 1 and Household 2)

    Completely agree that this is so confusing! And to make things worse, when they do select to "add another household", BB doesn't allow us to customize those headings and just assumes we want them to be identical to the first household! I can't even add "primary household" text in here because it duplicates it for the second household!!!

    There definitely needs to be some improvement regarding the household area on the applications. Families that do not live together consistently add the 2nd parent/guardians into the same household. So sometimes you end up with the divorced parents living together and then the new remarried families living with other spouses. It really creates a huge mess for data cleanup

    This is such a confusing and frustrating way to distinguish households. The address section shows up without a heading so it looks like you have to put in the same address again and then with the headings being the same for the biographical piece, it's just a nightmare to figure out. This definitely needs to be addressed.

    Agreed! I actually added the information in the attachment, to the application to try and help parents navigate through it. I was even confused.
