There is a glitch with the file processing function wherein if the parents select a current school to link to when uploading a file from a previous school. Once the file is uploaded by the parent, if admissions staff process the file submission and the sending school is updated in file processing, it will overwrite the original sending school info.

The easiest solution is to remove the sending school linking feature from the parents' view of the admissions checklist". Unfortunately, this is not a current functionality, but we would like to ask for the ability/option to prevent files from getting linked to sending schools by parents. We much prefer to handle this step when we're processing file submissions.
