I just created a checklist and made the first 3 steps active and assigned the checklist to the students so the parents could get to work on the medical and athletic forms needed for summer. The other 3 steps were left inactive and not yet connected to their respective school form (as the school form won't be ready until summer), but now that the checklist has been assigned, the system will not let me add a the form or connect it to a school form.
Thankfully, I tested this out and was able to remove the students before it went live.
But now we have to have multiple checklists.
