I just chatted with support and find this to be totally ridiculous that this is not universal across personas. I was shocked to find out from support that this is not a coding glitch.

Really need this to work. The Candidate view is often the first interaction new parents have with the school and it looks like we don't know the correct way to refer to Incoming Parents' children. I'm at a loss as to why this functionality is different from Candidate to Student.

Using nicknames instead of legal name in onboard does not make any sense especially when the nickname and the legal name have no similarity/connection.   It would be very helpful to have names appear as FirstName "Nickname" LastName on a candidate record. 

I agree - we have a large number of international applicants that use nicknames that do not match their official documents. It would be very helpful to have names appear as FirstName "Nickname" LastName on a student record. 

It would be great if the nickname could appear in parentheses in between the first and last name.  We manually override the system by adding the nickname into the first name box in parentheses but it would be much cleaner if the system could do it for us.
