A profile notice is a convenient place to put custom text as it comes up right at the top of the contact card. We could use this to sort our students into certain categories but those need to be updated each year. Too much work to update yearly unless it could be updated via data import. I know I could use a custom field or admin viewable only. But why not add profile notice too!
