When I sort through a list of registrants by date, rather than showing the oldest or newest first, the top result is the first day of the earliest or latest month, followed by the first and subsequent days of each month. ie if you were looking for most recent, instead of showing entries from today (10/11), it would show you 10/1, all the middle entries, then 10/11.
