We collect the type of school(s) that our applicants have attended prior to applying to our school - public, private, charter, etc. Currently, this is intertwined with the Current School/Previous School functionality in Admissions Setup>Candidate Profile Settings, and in order for us to collect data on the school type, we have to deactivate the Current School option because it distorts the data collection.

However, doing so prevents the student's current grade from displaying on the candidate profile. See the KB article at https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/203243.

Allowing for a yes/no form control where the person completing the application indicates which of the schools listed in the candidate's history is the Current School, rather than having it defined through Candidate Profile Settings, would allow for us to collect the school type data while also allowing for display of the student's current grade on the candidate profile.
