On Sunday, 2/11/24, a new law took effect in New York State requiring businesses to clearly post the cost of using a credit card for payment, including any surcharges being imposed, for customers. In the past we were able to just include text in contracts indicating that using a credit card for payment would incur a 2.95% fee. Now the exact amount must be calculated and visible along with tuition, financial aid and insurance, which are obviously not consistent among students. According to a support person I worked with today, this option is currently not available in BBEM for inclusion in contracts. Please consider adding a custom calculation field in contracts.
