I would love to have a feature to 'Publish' an event.

For Open Houses and other large events, we use staff from all over the school to sign people in at our doors. Most do not have Enrolment Management permissions, and definitely not event manager. So they cannot check in attendees. It would be amazing to publish an event so that i cannot be changed, but that any staff member could access the event and sign people in.
