Currently, when I set up a credit-bearing course, I add a Transcript Category so that we can total accumulated credits for certain areas (Humanities, STEM, etc.) as required by the state. For example, our state requires one credit of Fine Arts and one Humanities Elective. For a student who takes multiple Art classes (e.g., Visual Arts, Pottery, Drawing, etc.) some of those can count toward the Fine Arts transcript category but once they satisfy those credits, I may want to apply additional Art courses to the Humanities Elective category.

Currently, Blackbaud only allows me to apply one category to courses I create and offer at our school. However, when I transfer in credits from another student's school, I can add an "equivalent course" and adjust the transcript category it falls under if I do not want to use the default. I would like to have the same option for courses I create at our school.
