We use Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS) as our merchant for collecting enrollment deposits and application deposits. In the contracts section of Enrollment Management, when parents are signing their re-enrollment or enrollment contracts, they are able to make a deposit through Enrollment Management as it re-routes to BBMS's gateway.

We were told that we don't have the option of having the parents pay the credit card fees as they are making their deposits, and that the school would have to incur these costs. We would like to have the ability to bill the credit card fees to parents, and give them a notice to that effect as they are making the payment. We currently have to incur about $30K of costs a year due to credit card fees on enrollment deposits.
