Would like to have the ability to set a parent up with only view access to student information in contact card. When a court order gives a parent right to view student records such as grade, schedule and attendance information it would be useful to have a read only view as parent without giving them rights to make changes to student information such as address, emergency contact etc.
Not sure if this would work for your school but could you go to Core > Security > Profile Access > View/edit Profile Fields, change the dropdown to Parent, and then change your desired fields from "Edit" to "View" (or "No")? Or do you only want view-only for specific parents?
