Ability to not have application fields overwritten when merging potential duplicate users

I would like to have the ability to not have application fields overwritten when merging potential duplicate users. I do not like how one user becomes deleted and only some of their information gets carried over. Specifically, we have had issues with Citizenship, Religion, and Ethnicity not pulling over after the potential duplicate merge.

    We have had the applicant's picture removed as well as items in the checklist like tour dates for future and the sticky notes :( It would be great if when merging duplicates if a field is complete on one record, but not another that it would bring that field's info to the merged account.
