I would like to request that families have the ability to select "not returning" on the contract, and be able to submit so that they can quickly let us know of their intentions via the form.
While we appreciate having the "not returning" block, I agree with Brent that the language is extremely confusing for parents, even though we used helpful language suggested in a thread in the community. It would be more intuitive if the language looked more like "Are you returning?" with Yes taking them to complete the contract and No taking them to enter the reason.
Our continued issue, with the "Not Returning" tag, is that it creates an awkward double negative. Users have to select "No" to "Not Returning", which means they are returning. It's incredibly awkward for users. This needs to be a simple "Are You Returning" Yes (continue to complete form) or "No" (provide reason for not returning and a button to submit). Currently, if you select "Yes" i'm "not returning" you still need to go all the way to the end of the forms (skipping through tabs) to sign and submit. If you have initials set up for fees, this means the user still has to initial pages that say they will pay the stated amount. In all, it's just a back awkward way to ask if a student is returning to your school, and causes great confusion among parents. What should be simple, got gummed up trying to map this answer to a field in the student's record that says "not returning" "Yes/No". A little more programming work would have allowed for this implementation to be more user friendly.
Hi! We added this new feature to our re-enrollment contract this year. We only require one signature for contracts. The people who check off "not returning" have their contract stuck in the "pending" phase. Do both parents need to log to sign even though the signature line states we only need ONE signature? How do we identify these "pending" contracts with the "not returning" box checked but with only one signature? I opened a case, but I figured I'd add this here to see if anyone knows the answer! Thanks!
Hi Everyone! As of this morning we now have a block on the contract for not returning! You can drag it in where you need it, the parent can indicate that they're not returning, sign and submit the contract without making any other selections. They will show up in the processing center as not returning. Thank you!
In addition - when the family selects "not returning" - then the contract should be considered "returned" - so the family would stop receiving reminder notifications.
If this were implemented, then it would be great for contract to show "withdrawn" as it does now and to have a status of "withdrawn" separate from "submitted"

Having a general checkbox that allows school's to collect miscellaneous data will be a huge help.
Would like to see the option for a checkbox to say student is not returning.
Check box for "Not Returning" would be very helpful.
Yes please!

Great Idea Jake!
Yes to adding a checkbox in general, thanks!
Would like to be able to add check boxes at all, not just a not returning checkbox.
