Hi there, contracts do not require you to click on the thank you button in order for them to be completely submitted. If the parent has made it to the page with the thank you button, their contract has been submitted. We have tested this every year to be certain that this is still the case. The thank you button just returns them to their files and forms page. If you are seeing something other than that behavior, it is a bug and should be reported to support.
Remove the "Thank you Button" from contract please. it's confusing and I have been asking for this be fixed for few years now. Why does issue still exists?
I think the most common issue we are still having is: Parent 1 signs, accepts, but stops at the deposit screen as they do not have the info. Parent 2 signs, accepts, pays the deposit. The family thinks they are done, but in reality Parent 1 must go back in and now go all the way to the confirmation screen as well. Perhaps this needs to be a separate enhancement request, but it is a little odd that Parent 1 has to go back and click Submit.
Hi Ami, as stated in my previous comment, if you are not finding this to be the case and your parents are having to click on the thank you button in order to submit, please contact support and submit a case. Our expectation and the results of our testing have been that once a parent has made it to the thank you page, their contract is submitted already with no further action. If this is not happening, we would consider it to be a bug and we would fix it.
Sara that is not the case. We don't see it on the dashboard page until people click the "Thank You" button. I just think you should allow schools to edit the text "Thank you".

Every year I have completed but unsubmitted contracts because families don't know that they have to push a button labeled "Thank You" in order to submit. Every year I need to explain, "Yes I know it doesn't make sense but that's the way it is and I can't change it. I know you're frustrated, but please go back in and click the button. I'm sorry." It's been six years, why is this still such an issue?
Can anyone from K12 update us on this request. This doesn't take long to fix, but causing a number of issued when people submit contracts or applications. We need to able to change the "Thank you" text to say "Submit" or Confirm etc. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. All school are starting a new contract renewal cycle and this would be helpful if its fixed as a hot fix
I don't understand why this is still an issues. CAN WE PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE???? This is a problem for a number of schools. Clicking "Thank you" button doesn't make sense. The text should say submit to finalise or something like that NOT "THANK YOU"
I can't understand how this is still a problem. We had this issue with contracts and now the same with School Forms. We have hundreds of school forms that parents started, thought were complete but aren't because no one thinks they need to click on a "thank you" button to submit it!
This was a really simple - but critical request - more than a year ago. Do we need a popular vote to get this executed, or do we need Blackbaud to WANT to improve their product?
Please, can't we get this changed before we have to spend more hours, cleaning up contracts individually because parents couldn't read mind?
"Thank you" on the Contract Confirmation page is not intuitive. No one would think to select Thank You. It just looks like an acknowledgement. Where you already have to select Pay & Submit on the Enrollment Fee, one would not think you would have to select Thank You to get it to go through. We would like to request that Please Submit or Send would be a better choice of terminology.
