Allow students to add to assignments

I've spoken to severals students who would welcome the ability to add to the assignments channel. This could be in the form of extra detail or extra reminders regarding the assignments.

    Hi Angela,

    This is so old... :)

    The notes feature should suffice especially now that more teachers are
    using the assignments center more frequently because of requirements by
    division heads.
    Helps to have accountability.

    We implemented some time ago the ability for students to create their own tasks in their assignment center is this not accomplishing the goal? I'm unclear as to whether the ask is that students can add to an assignment for everyone or just themselves? I would assume the latter in which case I think their reminders or to-dos could be created as tasks.
