We no longer use Education Edge.  This is regarding the application options for the preset admission application within OnBoard.  As far as I can tell, there is not a way to add a blank name field and modify it within the application.  The added field would need to remain named as "Preferred Name" as to remain consistent with the candidate and parents of candidate preferred name fields for querying purposes, etc.

we just use "Nickname", as that is the field we modified in Education Edge for that purpose.
