Adding this feature would be extremely helpful, since I would be the one to manually enter information for all of the grandparents.  And since we are accepting new students for the school year, having it available as soon as possible, would help process our information more quickly.

No having the gender option for Grandparents creates issues when integrating with RE in that if we don't know who the male is, RE doesn't know who to make the constituent or who to set as Head of Household. We need a start point that will properly give information through the whole Blackbaud product.

This problem is causing major syncing issues for our school. Parent and Student records don't have an issue because we have fields avilable in Core for gender, but its missing in Core for grandparents. Without that our syncing is a nightmare because of all of duplicates created by lack of carrying the gener information in the database in Core.
