This will be useful because currently it is a time consuming process to go back and manually enter gender and living status on each individual grandparent record. Since this field option is available for parents, the assumption would be it would work by providing the same capability for grandparents. We need our grandparent data configured the same as parent data.  The accuracy of gender and living status is essential, as we communicate and send correspondence to this constituent group.  We are risking error at times by having to guess gender and living status.  Candidate families need the capability to accurately provide us this information on their admission application.  This would benefit any Blackbaud user who is responsible for managing consentient data.
