Allow Educational Consultant to have access to the Student file but not have parent role

I would like to see Educational Consultant to have access to their students file (ie see information, update information, see report cards, etc...) so that they can communicate with parents that do not speak English but without them showing as Parents because they have the Parental access in relationship settings.

    Consultants are showing up as Primary Parent on application and it is not possible to edit and/or remove them. This is causing lots of frustration and confusion. Not to mention the liability of school staff being listed as a guardian.

    Also causes problems when importing to RE from the Connect RE application. It imports Agents as Parents and then I have to go in and manually remove the parent's constituency from them.

    Yes! Giving someone Parental Access should not give them the parent role! If I want them to have the Parent role, I will give them the Parent relationship. This applies to tutors too, and causes problems when anyone with Parental Access is included on Bulk Messages.
