Teachers would like to be able to change colors of text, change font, adjust the sizing more, etc. If allowed only one text editing block on the bulletin board, the ability to insert a horizontal line to break up things within the block without having to use a table would also be nice. This text editor seems very basic compared to what my teachers have been using for years in Moodle. Right now, as we transition from Moodle, the workout is to format and edit in Moodle, open the HTML editor window in Moodle, copy the HTML code, and paste the HTML code into the HTML window for OnCampus - not a permanent solution, but I also don't expect my teachers to learn HTML to design their OnCampus pages.
Even with the new updates, this test editor is very clunky and buggy. Spacing errors, random changes in text size, bold, etc. are very common and difficult to impossible to fix. This week I had a numbered list showing up and wasn't able to delete it until I went into the html code and started erasing random lines. Very frustrating.
Angela,
Yes, please.

Hi @Danielle Keeney just so I'm understanding the ask - is it here where you have the editor options open that then you're asking for the text area itself to be larger so you can see more lines?
It looks like the text editor was updated to include bolding and font size. Our teachers thank you for the enhancements. The added bars though have made the visible screen for the content smaller, and they were wondering if the window could be a little larger.
Or even have consistency on the text editor...some areas right now allow for font size and color while others don't.
Oy. Just transferring some info from Moodle to OnCampus and lamenting again how limited the HTML editor is in the text editor. Grateful that I have taken an HTML class since I originally posted this idea and can manipulate things, but any word on this? I would love to simply change the size and color of text without teaching my teachers HTML!
YES!! This would make it so much more attractive! More importantly, it allows you to highlight important information.
Yes please! The editing tools seem like they haven't been updated since the late-90's...
This would be a huge enhancement. Two teachers this week alone have asked for this, specifically for students who need the visual emphasis.
