Teachers have chosen to view their Gradebooks sorted by first names. However, when they create a report for the class, it only creates the report sorted by last name, and since the report puts first and last names in the same cell in Excel, there isn't even a way for the teacher to easily redo the sort without completely manipulating the spreadsheet... at which point she might as well do it manually from the start or copy and paste from the Gradebook screen itself. 

Ideally, allow teachers to print a report reflecting display options would be wonderful. Another workaround would be to have the reports split student names into multiple columns/cells for more functionality in Excel.
