Autofill in grade book should NOT overwrite existing data

When a teacher has marked Missing or late assignments and wants to autofill the remaining blanks-it should not overwrite the grades already entered.

    UPDATE!

I am happy to announce that we addressed this idea with the June 28th Gradebook Improvement release!

We have vastly improved the workflow for bulk adding Points and Assignment Comments.

Here is the blog story detailing the updates.

    Hi All,

We've kicked off our Traditional Gradebook Improvement initiative. We're looking to improve  the way bulk points are assigned. Here's a sneak peek at the prototype where Teachers would have control over which students are getting the same points assigned and can skip those that have a status of Missing, Exempt, etc.

We're looking to get these updates out this summer ahead of the 2017/2018 school year.

    Thanks!

    Jackie

agree with Jim... Right now the only way to mass delete grades so that you can delete the assignment is to put a blank in for the autofill...  As long as that is the only way to mass delete student grades for an assignment, so you can delete the assignment itself this is not a good idea.
