I would like to request the ability to manually add file submissions to assignments for students. The scenario in this is that I would create an assignment where the student has to submit a file. However, some students will email me their file submissions instead. Though I remind them not to do that, I still would like to attach their file to their assignment. 

I know I can impersonate them and attach the file myself, but this is bad practice as I'm doing something a student should be doing themselves and wouldn't look good on an audit trail (if there was one). The problem with impersonating the student is in most cases, this would make the assignment late and I would have to then override the late mark applied. 

In short: manually submitting the file while logged in as the teacher would be beneficial.
