We have events throughout the year that certain students are part of (certain seniors are counselors at 5th grade camp, this group of students is doing this service project, etc.) and it would be wonderful to be able to contact certain members of a group, and not have to contact all members every time.
For instance, we have a "12th grade parents and students" group. It would be great if we could select and send an email to just the families of the 12-15 students who are going to camp.
Currently we only have two options- 1- contact the whole group and say "if you're not going to camp, please disregard" or, 2- look up every student individually and copy and paste all of their contact's email addresses. Option one is not always a good option, it can be rude or unprofessional if students wanted to participate in something but were not selected; option two is incredibly time consuming and tedious in cases like now when we're having an awards banquet and only those students receiving an award are invited to dinner beforehand (3/4 of the students).
