Athletic Event Manager modal: workflow issue
In onCampus > Procedures > Athletic Event Management, where we land on any given day, the date picker is gray. Gray usually denotes something that is unavailable, so users are getting confused and not actually clicking into the date picker.
When they don't click the date picker and try to add a game or a practice, today's date populates automatically. If they then input the correct date, the modal does not refresh so if the team they need to add the information for is out of season, they won't be able to add the game or practice-- they need to go back to the Athletic Event Management screen, which brings them back to the grayed-out date picker.
Two suggestions to resolve the problem I would like to see: make the date picker less gray, or alter the modal so that it refreshes after a date is chosen. Or rearrange the modal options so that the date is first, then the modal can refresh, then the team can be chosen. The modal should allow them to choose any team, in or out of season.
And REALLY agree about picking a team for ANY season. Our Athletic Director gets the game schedule in the summer for the entire year and wants to be able to enter them ALL via in Event Management - now they cannot because it only shows the teams for the season. This view is supposed to be one-stop shopping and shouldn't be limited
totally agree - needs to be more user friendly and not so confusing!
