Allow option to select multiple students in class for group e-mail, and include parents

Allow teachers/coaches the option to select pick-boxes next to students they wish to e-mail or message - and allow for communication to both parents and students within this selection.  Currently it is easy to communicate with entire class, or with an individual student or parent.  But if a teacher wishes to send the same e-mail to 10 students, they have to search for 10 different e-mail addresses, and find the parent e-mail as well.  FA Web had this functionality

This would be one of the most important and productive enhancements that could be made to Blackbaud. We must be able to select subsets of a group. This missing feature is a huge, huge source of frustration for teachers and other users.

I just had a teacher email about this type of functionality which is what prompted to search for this idea in the Idea Bank.  She feels that she is stuck between messaging the entire class or having to hand-type individual names into the message "To" field.  Even doing that, without a printed course roster on hand, it is difficult to remember the names of all the students she might want to include and even harder to remember the name of the parents.  Users would benefit from an easy way from the Roster tab to highlight the names of selected students and then choose the "Send Communication To" button to message just those people, still having the option of emailing students, parents, or both.
