Currently the schedule feature within a student's profile displays two days of attendance (the current day and previous day) and then a week in advance of the schedule. This is a great interface, but can be enriched by adding the ability to go back to previous days to see attendance in this view as well. This way a teacher could study patterns in attendance without needing a role added or generating a report to see this information. This would also allow the school to see attendance patterns of students within the context of their schedule.
