We have a building that is a dormitory, except for one room that is a classroom.  I set up the building and checked that it was academic and dorm.  Then for each room I chose either dormitory or put the one room as academic.  When I go to select a room for a class I see a list of ALL rooms for the building, not just the academic rooms.  Similarly, when I go to select a room for housing I see the academic room with it's 12 slots for occupancy.  I really think classes should be limited to academic spaces and dorms to rooms that are dorm type.  It gets too messy otherwise.
