Displaying of Assignment for students and parents

Viewing assignments is non intuitive.  Students, parents and teachers have both thought that assignments were missing or not posted, only to realize that we must select the Date range view option and put in a larger range.  Default view should be all assignments with newest first. View all assignments should AT LEAST be an option.

    Hans... you can't do that because then the loading list of assignments at the end of the school year would be hundreds of assignments long... Teach them how to use the Past, Active, and Future  filters... I would never want those long page loads on my system.
