Many of our classes blend College Prep, Honors, and AP students in the same hour.  This is the first year I've been in the same "boat".  Currently, Blacklaud has an elegant solution for allowing simultaneous attendance taking and simultaneous grading of graded discussions.  The first request would be to extend this to grading assignments, including those with online submissions and rubrics. 

 

The second and even more important is to allow teachers the ability to merge gradebooks into a single view.  This could include multiple sections of the same type of class OR sections of different types (such as my Astronomy and Astronomy H course).  A graded item that was assigned to Astr H not in the Astr course could be "grayed out" or something.
