Comment reports are of great use as it allows us to see official notes we use to track students needs and academic progress, however, when we run comment reports we are unable to filter by a department, with the exception of the Comments by Group report, which then requires us to filter by course section as well. The Comments by Type Report is also useful, however, again it is unable to filter for departments. 

We would much prefer to filter by a department and see all students in all courses in that department.
