A teacher creates an assessment and assigns it to her/his students. The students start taking the assessment and they notice a mistake on the assessment. The teacher can't edit the assessment since students have already started taking it. This is an issue in and of itself. However, ideally the teacher should be able to edit the assessment NOW for next year so they don't run into the same problem when they import the assessment. Currently the teacher has to make a copy of the assignment, make sure it isn't published to students so they aren't confused by multiple assessments, and name it in a way so they know to import the corrected copy the next year. If there was some way to have a bank of assessments that could be edited whenever and imported to a class when needed, this could be avoided.
