When the teacher grades an assessment and assigns partial credit, onCampus labels the question as correct. This is NOT helpful for students then they go back to correct their assessments, since it is not easy to tell that they answered these questions incorrectly.
When creating an assessment, a teacher should be able to allow partial credit for a question when it is answered correctly on a subsequent attempt. For example, in PowerSchool/ Haiku, a teacher can allow a question to be attempted twice and have the option of giving full credit on the second or subsequent attempts, or giving a fraction of credit on subsequent attempts. So if the question is given two attempts, and the student answers correctly on the second attempt, one-half point would be given to the assessment total grade rather than one.
