Percentages toggle in the gradebook and RAG coloring.
Allow teachers to toggle a "view percentages" mode in the gradebook. Some RAG (red, amber green) coloring would be brilliant also to allow a teacher to set thresholds in the display settings to color each student's grade.
With our updated gradebook, we're happy to share you can now highlight cumulative grades yellow below a threshold of your choosing. If you have additional ideas for expanding this functionality, please feel free to share additional ideas!
The lack of this feature is preventing a number of our teachers from switching from their own custom Excel spreadsheets to the LMS gradebook. While you run reports and parse through them to get something similar, being able to enable coloring based on desired percentage thresholds, or based on the assignment type's median grade, much more quickly and clearly synthesizes that information.
So the following would be required:
Gradebook settings to determine how coloring is measured
A checkbox to turn this coloring on or off, or dropdown menu of the most common options to accomplish both turning on this coloring and by what measure coloring is determined
