Assignments sortable view request

By default when you go into assignments you have two views, one where assignment types are grouped and are sorted by date from oldest to newest. I am aware that you can go to the 'Sortable Order' button, click the assignment date and then return to the 'Assignment Types' button to see it listed from newest to oldest. This, however is not the most feasible way for efficiency. Would it be possible to add an Ascending / Descending toggle on the main assignment screen view?

    I believe you are now able to sort asc/desc in the assignment list views let me know if I'm missing something here.

    Along these same lines, we need the ability to filter assignments based on the academic term.  For example, if a teacher is looking at previous assignments, by default they only want to see those for the current academic term, not the previous as well.  It makes it more difficult to find assignments.

    Just give us all the filters! :D
