Distinguish Between Absent When Assigned and Absent When Due

It would be nice to distinguish in the grade book when a student was absent when the assignment was assigned vs. absent when the student was due instead of the same symbol for both.

    I agree. It would be very helpful if there was a visual difference between the two. Also, we have policies regarding make-up work and excused absences vs unexused absences. Our teachers would like to just see absences when due and they would like to distinguish between excused and unexcused absences.

    Agree, would like to see the "absent when assigned or due" in the gradebook setting separated out into two different categories so that I can see who wasn't there when it was supposed to be turned in.
