I would like to propose that each button field that is added to a topic area be able to be toggled on and off.
Because I like my topic areas to not include any resources or information for my students until it becomes relevant, I would like the ability to hide or turn off a button field until I am ready for students to see it. Each school year, I feel as if I am reinventing the wheel by importing my existing topic areas from previous years and deleting the button fields (text, links, downloads) and then rebuilding them as the unit progresses. It would improve workflow for me to import and then turn off each of these fields until it is time for my students to use them.
I envision this working in a similar manner as the hide slide functionality in a slide presentation (Google Slides or Powerpoint)
