Grade book set up should have apply to all semesters or quarters option
Give teachers the option to "apply to all" semesters or quarters once they set up one for the year.

Hey Everyone -
Just wanted to give a quick update on this feature. As of today, this feature is now live. When teachers set up their gradebooks by Marking Period, in the first Marking Period, they will now see a button called 'Copy to all marking periods'. When clicked, this button will take the Assignment types, Letter grade scales, and Number to drop and copy those values across all Marking Periods that the class is offered in.
This option will not copy the 'Other sections to apply' setting. If a teacher wishes to share the gradebook setting across other sections, that will still need to be done on a marking period-by-marking period basis.

Just letting you know that we're hoping to have this feature implemented before the start of the 24-25 school year. That timeline may slip as new information is uncovered during the development process, but this is something we're really trying to get implemented for you all.

In addition to this, if the grade book settings are setup globally (Academics > Grading > Grades > Grading Setup > Gradebook Setup ) then we should have the ability to ensure each teacher doesn't have to save their gradebook settings.
As it stands now, each teacher needs to save the setup and the display options for all of their gradebooks, even when the settings are global.

It also should not be a one and done process. Currently you can copy a current marking period configuration to your other classes for that marking period, but only when you go in to grading setup the first time. If you mess up and hit save before you fully set everything up, or you forgot to select all the check boxes for the other classes, then you are stuck and have to redo all the settings individually for each section. They really need to fix this as well when adding the option you are requesting.
