Currently, despite having established a default point calculation (Academics > Grading > Grading setup > Gradebook settings) teachers still have to open their Gradebook, click 'Edit setup', and with no other changes being made, click 'Save & close' to get this calculation to actually apply and show a grade avg for the marking period under the 'Marking Period' cumulative column.
What's the point of setting a system default if teachers still have to complete this step of manually confirming the gradebook calculation for every class??
