A teacher mentioned a problem with downloading student submissions.

His students submit files that range between 20-50MB each, and some students submit 3-4 files for an assignment.  When he tries to download all student submissions, he gets an error message, because it exceeds 250MB.

Is there a way to compress all student submissions into a smaller file? Or allow the teacher to download a selected number of students to get close to the 250MB limit, but not exceed it..?  Just trying to avoid having the teacher download each individual file for each student.
