It is useful for coaches to be able to use the "send communication to" function.  We currently manage athlete parent email groups (outside blackbaud) so the parents can communicate about events, volunteering, banquets, etc.  Rather than managing the roster in blackbaud and the external email group it would be nice to do it all within one platform.
