Use of commas interfering with math assessments OnCampus

When taking math assessments using the OnCampus assessment feature students cannot type in a fill in the blank answer with a number in the thousands using a comma (ex: 1,017). The platform reads this as 2 answers separated with a comma. It would be more helpful to use semicolons to input multiple answers.

I definitely agree! I was trying to have my students convert measurements and one of the answers was 8800. The system read the answers as 8 and 800 not 8800.
