Allow teachers to have a student role for training

We have created a Blackbaud training class page in Academics so teachers have a template in instructional design for hybrid learning. We want them to view assignments, assessments, grade book, as if they were a student in the class. However, the student role isn't available for teachers in academic class pages, and I don't think assignments or assessment are available in other types of group pages. It would be nice if there were a way to simulate this in our own class pages. Blackbaud U is nice, but our course is designed to our school's specific needs and requirements.

    Hi,

    I am not sure if this would help, but it might be worth thinking about. We made a fake student called AaFake01 AaFakeStudent01 (just change the number to make multiple fake students) The double aa puts them on the top of lists to delete easily or if it is an advanced list you can filter to say User Base.Last Name doesn't start with aafakestudent. Then we put the fake student in one section of all 7th grade classes. Then we gave the teachers the username & password so they could sign into the Blackbaud system as the fake student and see what a student sees. Hope this helps. Have a blessed day!
