It would be nice if once the students starting taking an assessment, that say you had set 30 mins for, if you realize they are going to need more time, the teacher would have the ability to increase the time. In addition, if you do not know beforehand that an individual student needs extended time, and they remind the teacher after starting the class begins the assessment, that the teacher could change the individual time.
Right now, once a class starts and assessment everything locks.
Still waiting for this to be merged

I agree it would be very helpful if a teacher sets the time allowed to take an assessment to 30 minutes and if a student Bob starts taking the assessment and after 10 minutes of taking the assessment (while the student is still in the assessment answering questions) the student lets the teacher know they were suppose to get extra time due to an IEP. The teacher should be able to go into the settings for that assessment and change the time allowed for Bob to be 45minutes. Then at that instant the teacher changes Bob's individual time to 45minutes in real time if bob had used 12minutes of the initial 30minutes, Bob's assessment should go automatically change from 18 minutes left to 32 minutes left (18+the 15extra minutes). This should also be an option for the teacher to change the time allowed for the entire class at once if they wish while the entire class is in the middle of the assessment. Thank you for your help!
I just created this idea, which seems like many of you are asking for.
