Ability to choose if default time is added to an assignment

We used to be able to leave assignment times as blank and now the end time always defaults to 11:59pm. I understand why this feature was added, however, I feel like a better feature would be for schools to choose. I would like this to be optional and have schools decide what works best.

    There was never a "blank" due time it was always 11:59 it was just wasn't displayed. Because there is logic based on the due date for marking something overdue or fitting it into a marking period for grading etc. the end of day i.e. 11:59 time was always used. Those features wouldn't function. We did however revert the display back to showing nothing if the teacher didn't set it to something other than 11:59 so that it would still appear to not have a due time. This was done late summer. In that way, teachers can select their own default time(s) based on their courses or leave it "blank" and have the hidden 11:59.
