When grading assignments, it would be helpful to be able to click on a student’s name and be taken to their profile (to see adviser, other teachers, free periods for a meeting, etc.). Currently, there is no link: if, while reading through a discussion thread, I need to see more information about that student, I need to exit the Assignment Center, navigate through my roster or the directory, and find them there (and then back to the Assignment Center to finish my grading): a significant disruption to workflow.

In addition, linking the gradebook and the assignment center more fully would be helpful. If, when in the gradebook, I want to see the particular assignment that a student turned in, I again need to navigate out of the gradebook and around to the Assignment Center, then back around again to the gradebook. It’s currently extremely tedious to use, and it could be solved with more links between the different sections of the site.
