It would be so helpful if one of the drop-down menus for filtering within the assignment center or within a class page's assignment tab was "current term" or allowed a teacher to quickly toggle between different terms. The date range feature is good, but the system already knows the date-ranges of these terms and could make for a more efficient workflow.
