I noticed recently that a multiple choice question I gave that had 2 answers was marked incorrectly and given no credit, even though the student picked one of the two correct answers.

Here was how it was marked in the "results" tab:

  It is missing a ( ) in the last line to correctly calculate the average using PEMDAS( Your Answer )

• ☑

  There should be an int or float function on the input commands( Correct Answer )

• ☐

  It is missing a pow in the last line to correctly calculate the average

• ☐

  Nothing, it correctly finds the average of the numbers

There was a check mark next to the first two answer options, but there was no partial credit given for the fact that the student chose choice 1 (a correct answer). I believe that he should have received half credit for choosing one of the two correct answers.
